Kantis - is a combined effort of Subodh Sharma & Manju Sharma who are from a family traditionally involved in the sweets business for more than 5 decades. With this experience behind them, making sweets only came naturally to them. They started their first store in December 1999 on the New Thippasandra main Road.

They also saw a growing need for Simple “home made food” around this area which had become home to may IT professionals who were also bachelors. This had to be affordable to all sections.

North Indian Parathas is what came to their minds. Good, home made Parathas along with some simple subzis, not usually available in regular restaurants. For good measure, they decided to add on a Chaat section as well. Today they run a chain of 4 stores at Thippasandra, Kadabisinahlli, Basavanagar and Kalyan Nagar.

The Husband Wife duo, Manju and Subodh are the whole and soul of this small chain of stores. While Subodh is incharge of Production, Accounts and related matters, Manju is responsible for quality control and manpower management.

Our staff under her is extremely satisfied as we have more than 50% of the staff since inception still with us.
